Departmental Roles and Responsibilities

Head of Department: Oversees teaching, research, staffing and departmental administration; coordinates committees and reports to the Dean.
Department Board: Plans and coordinates teaching, research and the effective use of departmental resources.
Faculty Member: Teaches courses, conducts research, supervises projects and provides academic advice.
Lecturer: Delivers courses, conducts research and supports students academically.
Research Assistant: Supports teaching, laboratory work, research, examinations and departmental committees.
Department Secretary: Manages correspondence, records, announcements and administrative coordination.
