Dr. Mert Çakır, Faculty Member of the Department of Landscape Architecture, carried out an Erasmus Teaching Mobility Program at the Estonian University of Life Sciences.

Dr. Mert ÇAKIR, Faculty Member of the Department of Landscape Architecture, Completed Erasmus Teaching Mobility at the Estonian University of Life Sciences

Dr. Mert ÇAKIR, a faculty member of the Department of Landscape Architecture, participated in the Erasmus Teaching Mobility Program at the Estonian University of Life Sciences (Eesti Maaülikool) in Tartu, Estonia, between 22–26 September 2024.

Within the scope of the program, Dr. ÇAKIR delivered presentations on the Urban Biodiversity Performance Assessment Model, which he co-developed with Prof. Dr. Atila GÜL, introducing methods for evaluating urban biodiversity. In addition, he attended various undergraduate courses and field trips organized by the Department of Landscape Architecture and engaged in knowledge exchange with academics and students.

These activities contributed to the international dissemination of urban biodiversity studies and strengthened academic collaboration between the participating institutions.
