Interior Architecture and Environmental Design

In the board meeting of Süleyman Demirel University dated 14.02.2013 and numbered 535, the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design within the Faculty of Fine Arts was transferred to the Faculty of Architecture together with its staff in accordance with Article 4 of the Decree Law numbered 78. Since there is no academic staff in the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, education and training, research and development activities cannot be carried out. The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design is an interdisciplinary department that aims to train interior architects and environmental designers who will provide the realization of interior designs that are livable, sustainable, healthy, respectful to ethical values ​​and have a high sense of aesthetics. The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design aims to train qualified interior architects and environmental designers who will integrate space organization with aesthetic and architectural knowledge in buildings and the environment and provide solutions that are suitable for user requests. The Mission of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design; Our aim is to train interior architects and environmental designers who can contribute to the field of art and design, who are well aware of the needs and demands of the age, who produce economical and contemporary solutions to space-human-equipment problems, who are inquisitive, who can transform artistic and intellectual dimensions into practice, who can combine their designs with application experience, and who have high professional ethics, responsibility and competence.
