Award in National Competition

 

 

Furkan UZUN, a 3rd year student at Süleyman Demirel University (SDU) Faculty of Architecture, Department of Landscape Architecture, was deemed worthy of the Sponsor Special Award in the “Technopolis Landscape Design Student Project Idea Competition”.

 

Our university student Furkan UZUN participated in the competition organized in cooperation with Selçuk University Faculty of Architecture and Design, Konya Teknopolis, Selçuk University Living Design Community and TMMOB Chamber of Landscape Architects Konya Provincial Representative Office, with a team consisting of events at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBU) Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Landscape Architecture.

 

The team members are:

· Bekir Berk TAŞGIN (SUBÜ Landscape Architecture Department / 2nd year)

· Furkan UZUN (SDU Landscape Architecture Department / 3rd year)

· Ebrar HIRCA (SUBÜ Landscape Architecture Department / 2nd year)

· Elvan ULUSOY (SUBÜ Landscape Architecture Department / 4th year)

 

The investment of the competition team was carried out by Dr. Ömer Faruk UZUN from Sakarya Applied Sciences University Landscape Architecture Department. The team ranked 7th among 42 projects with the project they developed and won the Sponsor Special Award. The awards were presented at the ceremonies held at Konya Metropolitan Municipality Taş Bina Culture and Art Center.
