"Earthquake Awareness Training" Organized for Academic and Administrative Staff
Under the coordination of our Faculty Quality Office, a “Earthquake Awareness Training” was organized on March 2, 2026, for the academic and administrative staff of our Faculty. The training was delivered by Architect Kadir ACAR, who serves within the Afet ve Acil Durum Yönetimi Başkanlığı (AFAD).

As part of the training in which our students also participated, comprehensive information was provided on the precautions to take before an earthquake, the appropriate actions during an earthquake, and the necessary procedures to follow afterward. A detailed presentation, supported by practical examples, was delivered to raise disaster awareness and minimize potential risks
At the end of the program, participants’ questions were answered, and the vital importance of being prepared for disasters and maintaining individual awareness was emphasized. The training concluded with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to Architect Kadir ACAR in recognition of his valuable contributions.
