"Historical Readings of Place: The Isparta" Exhibition Opens to Visitors
The exhibition “Historical Readings of Place: Isparta”, prepared by the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture, opened to visitors on January 2, 2026. The exhibition is the outcome of a comprehensive academic study based on the Isparta Cultural Inventory, incorporating historical data related to the city and primarily drawing on visual material–based publications.

Curated by Dr. Ayşe Betül Gökarslan and Dr. Duygu Köse Uçar, the exhibition brings together maps, photographs, archival documents, and written sources to reinterpret Isparta’s historical layers and spatial continuity within the framework of the architectural discipline.


Serving as an important reference for university members, students, and visitors interested in urban memory, the exhibition will be open to the public at Iyaşpark Shopping Mall until January 7, 2026. We
