Mimar Sinan Week Events and Architecture Academy Awards – 2026

The “Mimar Sinan Week Events” and the “Mimar Sinan Academy Awards,” organized within our Faculty between April 6–17, 2026, were celebrated with great enthusiasm through a program rich in both academic and artistic content. Throughout the events, a dynamic and multifaceted environment of interaction was created within our Faculty. This was achieved through seminars delivered by distinguished guest speakers who are experts in their fields, workshops where students showcased their creative work, exhibitions featuring original designs, and fashion shows reflecting aesthetic perspectives.

The activities held during the week not only contributed to the professional development of our students but also provided an important platform that brought together academic knowledge and practical application. Participants had the opportunity to closely follow current approaches in the fields of architecture and design, while interdisciplinary interaction was further strengthened.

 As part of the program, the Architecture Academy Awards Ceremony, held on April 8, 2026, with the Rector, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Saltan, and our Vice Rector, Sabriye Ercan, became one of the most meaningful moments of the events. During the ceremony, awards were presented to our academic and administrative staff, as well as our students, in recognition of their achievements, dedication, and contributions throughout the year.

This comprehensive series of events once again demonstrated our Faculty’s academic productivity, artistic vision, and commitment to societal contribution, while also fostering strong connections among students, academics, and stakeholders.
