Mudras and Their Meanings Event Held as Part of International Women’s Day Week.
Under the coordination of our Faculty Quality Office, an event titled “Mudras and Their Meanings” was organized on March 9, 2026, as part of International Women’s Day Week. The event was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şehriban Şahan Eraslan from the Department of Landscape Architecture.

The event, attended by academic and administrative staff as well as students, provided information on the meanings of mudras, their purposes, and their effects on body-mind balance. During the program, participants were introduced to various types of mudras, and the role of these hand gestures in meditation practices, as well as their practical applications, was discussed.

At the end of the program, a certificate of appreciation was presented to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şehriban Şahan Eraslan in recognition of her contributions.
