“The Barrier-Free Experience of Spatial Perception” Exhibition Opens to Visitors
The exhibition prepared within the scope of the Architectural Project III course titled “The Barrier-Free Experience of Spatial Perception,” organized by the Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture, was opened to visitors on January 12, 2026. Many protocol members, academics, and visitors attended the exhibition opening. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seda Şimşek, a faculty member of SDU Faculty of Architecture, stated that the project was carried out in cooperation with the Isparta Altınokta Association for the Blind and aims to create an accessible and inclusive spatial experience for everyone.

Within the scope of the event, certificates of appreciation were presented to the students, and special certificates of appreciation prepared in Braille were presented to İsmail Er, President of the Altınokta Association for the Blind, and his wife Hatice Er.

Curated by Dr. Architect Gizem Güvlü Erhan and Architect Ayşe Gün, the exhibition can be visited between January 12–14 under the auspices of the Isparta Governorship Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism.
