The Faculty of Architecture Sent Off Its New Graduates to Professional Life.
The Faculty of Architecture 2025–2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held with the enthusiastic participation of academics, students, families, and invited guests.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence in memory of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and our revered martyrs, followed by the singing of the Turkish National Anthem. The program then continued with the opening remarks of the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Prof. Dr. Ali Türk, followed by speeches delivered by Architect Fatmagül Yalçınkaya, Chair of the Chamber of Architects Branch, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Engin Kepenek, Chair of the Antalya Branch of the Chamber of City Planners.

Plaques were presented by the Dean of the Faculty and the Vice Deans to the top-ranking graduates: Architect Osama Hashed Saif Qasem, a graduate of the Department of Architecture and the Faculty Valedictorian; Architect Selçuk Dere, a graduate of the Department of Architecture and the Faculty Salutatorian; and Landscape Architect Gülperi Koca, a graduate of the Department of Landscape Architecture and the Faculty Third-Ranking Graduate. Graduating with the highest honors, Faculty Valedictorian Architect Osama Hashed Saif Qasem ceremonially inscribed his name on the graduation plaque

Plaques were presented by the Head of the Department and the Vice Heads of the Department to the top-ranking graduates of the Department of Architecture: Architect Osama Hashed Saif Qasem, the Department Valedictorian; Architect Selçuk Dere, the Department Salutatorian; and Architect Begüm Rüya Gürbaz, the Department Third-Ranking Graduate.
In addition, to honor the cherished memory of our student Müşfika Arıkoğlu, who lost her life in the Hatay Earthquake, a commemorative graduation certificate was presented to her aunt, Ms. Kübra Güvenç Büyükateş, and a graduation gown was ceremonially placed on her behalf.

In addition, appreciation was extended to the Faculty Secretary and the dedicated administrative staff for their devoted service, hard work, and valuable contributions to the Faculty. Throughout the ceremony, students and their families experienced many emotional moments, while the joy and excitement of graduation were shared by all participants.
The program concluded with the Graduation Oath and the traditional cap-tossing ceremony. As the ceremony came to an end, the Faculty of Architecture celebrated the pride and happiness of sending its new graduates off to begin their professional careers

Following the ceremony, departmental graduation cakes were cut in front of the Faculty building. Afterwards, at the reception held in honor of the graduates, students gathered with their families and shared the joy of their graduation.
We congratulate all of our graduates and wish them every success in their professional lives and future career journeys.
