Under the Coordination of Our University’s Science Communication Office, a Seminar on Artificial Intelligence in Architecture Was Held.
The seminar titled “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Field of Architecture,” organized by the Süleyman Demirel University Science Communication Office, brought together the worlds of architecture and technology on May 7, 2026.Held at the Chamber of Architects of Isparta and coordinated by Faculty of Architecture academic staff members Assist. Prof. Dr. Berna GÜÇ and Assist. Prof. Dr. Kübra SÜMER HAYDARASLAN, the seminar addressed the areas of artificial intelligence applications in architectural projects, its advantages in terms of time and cost during project processes, and its contributions to workforce efficiency. The event also highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in sustainable building systems, particularly in energy management and climate control solutions.
During the program, Emre Metin and Bahadır Karaarslan delivered a presentation titled “Artificial Intelligence in the Architectural Design Process,” where they discussed the innovative contributions of artificial intelligence to design processes.Şerife Gültemen also provided evaluations on cost management, time planning, and workforce efficiency. In addition, presentations on energy efficiency and climate control systems were delivered by Osama Hashed Saif Qasem, Oriel Tresor Uwimigisha, and Dudu Nur Yavuz.
