World Architecture Week Ended With Events

World Architecture Week, celebrated with various events in partnership with our faculty and affiliated professional chambers.  The first day of our event began with the opening speech of our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ali Turk and then followed presentation on "BIENNIAL" by Batuhan Efe ŞAHIN, representative of the Antalya Chamber of Architects. In his presentation, he made important sharings about the purpose, structure, importance and contribution of the biennial to the city.

On the second day of the event,  “  Socialization Activity” was held in order to support our newly enrolled students to adapt to university life. Began with speech of our Faculty  Dean Prof. Dr. Ali Turk The President of the Chamber of Architects Isparta Provincial Representative Office, Senior Architect Caner ATASEVEN and the President of the Chamber of City Planners Antalya Branch, City Planner Funda YÖRÜK wished our students a successful academic year. The students who participated in the event met with all academic and administrative staff, and Vice Deans, department heads and administrative staff had the opportunity to introduce themselves. This program not only contributed to our students' strong start to their academic journey but also reinforced the pride of joining our faculty family.

The last day of the event by Architect Mesut ARSLAN  made a presentation titled “VR Applications in Architecture” . In this presentation, areas of use of virtual reality, advantages, disadvantages and unique design and presentation opportunities offered by VR. He provided our students with the opportunity to experience this by explaining with examples how VR can make communication and decision-making easier in the design process.
